Palaette in Hackney is easily my personal favourite brunch destination. With its vibrant aesthetics and instagrammable setting, coupled with their huge menu and impeccable presentation, makes this cafe a standout gem.
Palaette Cafe takes brunch to a whole new level with its diverse menu. The food options range from wholesome granola bowls to classic breakfasts and extend to Middle Eastern and Turkish delights such as Shakshouka and Turkish eggs. For those who relish hearty meals and a lively atmosphere, this cafe stands out as an essential choice.

One of the popular, yet hidden away, brunch spots in London. Cafe East is specifically designed to serve breakfast/brunch items. It’s quite a small cafe and with it being quite well known, be prepared to stand in a queue (which can go quite fast depending on the day you visit).
The menu boasts an extensive selection with numerous sweet and savoury options including full English breakfasts, waffles, French toast, fresh juices and more.

Grounded Restaurant, although small in size, has a diverse day and night menu offering a variety of options for both brunch as well as for dinner. Specifically for brunch, it boasts an extensive menu which include classes omelettes, French toasts, full English breakfasts and much more.
On a busy day, the restaurant tends to attract a crowd, which however does move quite fast. We found ourselves waiting in a queue for approximately 15 minutes before being seated. The restaurant itself is quite small but does offer a cozy setting with their closely arranged tables and wooden features.

Sapores is a chic restaurant which offers both brunch and dinner options. For brunch, they have classis dishes such as full English breakfasts, waffles and pancakes. Sapores goes beyond just serving the food; it crafts an experience with artful presentation. The dishes arrive with the addition of dry smoke to add a playful element to the presentation to enhance the enjoyment of the meal.

Comptoir Libanais, known for its vibrant Lebanese cuisine, has an extended menu which offers brunch choices that are mixed with Middle Eastern flavours. It’s nestled in multiple locations all around the UK including London, Manchester, Bath, Leeds, Reading, Birmingham, Oxford and Exeter.
The menu includes a blend of sweet and savoury delights that represent the Lebanese cuisine such as ‘Manousheh’ which is a warm flatbread with enticing toppings and a selection of ‘Shakshouka’ – poached eggs nestled in a rich tomato and bell pepper stew infused with aromatic spices.
